New Laws Governing The Provision Of SMSF Advice
Effective from 1 July 2016, the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) requires that all accountants who work in the area of SMSFs and provide their clients with any form of strategic advice, mist be formally licensed with ASIC to do so. Consequently, we are very pleased to announce that Negotiis Wealth Advisor is licensed with Unison Wealth Management (AFSL No:28621) to provide all of your SMSF advice services.
Kim Deneys, our consultant in SMSF Advisor, has also attained the required licensing educational requirements to provide you with expert strategic advice. You can read more about Kim and our services in his Adviser Profile and Financial Services Guide.
As part of these new regulations any strategic advice provided, may require the issue of a formal Statement Of Advice (SoA). We will inform you if this is necessary and of any costs involved prior to commencement. These new ASIC requirements provide Negotiis Wealth Advisory with the opportunity to deliver a comprehensive service to clients who either have an existing SMSF, or are considering establishing and SMSF.
